Job Title: Plumbing Technician
Job Description
Working with 6in steel pipe. This role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and components across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The Plumbing Technician reviews building plans, ensures compliance with relevant building codes and environmental requirements, and coordinates work with other trades and suppliers. The position also involves planning and scheduling work, preparing budgets and supply orders, and maintaining detailed daily reports to support safe, efficient, and code-compliant plumbing operations.

Work Environment
The work environment involves active participation in construction and maintenance projects across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will work both indoors and outdoors, including on new construction sites and existing facilities, handling plumbing systems such as water distribution, wastewater disposal, storm and sanitary piping, and water treatment equipment. The role requires regular use of hand tools, piping tools, and related installation equipment, as well as frequent reading of blueprints and building plans. You will collaborate closely with other trades and suppliers, coordinate schedules, and work within established building codes and environmental requirements. The position also involves regular use of computers and software for accounting, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing to prepare budgets, orders, and daily reports. Hours may vary depending on project needs, with periods of higher activity during critical construction or maintenance phases, and you are expected to maintain a professional appearance appropriate for construction and field environments.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
