Minimum Qualifications
One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Three years of experience or training in pipefitting, steam fitting, or plumbing.

Job Duties and Other Information
Repairs and modification to all plumbing systems including above and below ground.
Performs repairs and preventative maintenance to domestic and commercial hot water heaters and boilers to ensure they are within code and insurance specifications.
Installs and repairs plumbing, steam regulators, steam traps, and relief valves.
Assembles various metal and plastic pressure and sewerage piping using threaded joints, soldering techniques, clamps, bonds, and leaded joints.

Appointment Type: Probational - This position may be filled as a Probationary Appointment requiring 12-24 months on probation.
