Plumber – Residential Services
At Beacon, we’ve built a team that sets a high standard and we’re looking to add to it. We’re seeking skilled Residential Plumbers with 3+ years of plumbing expertise to service homeowners in our Northern Virginia and Montgomery County, MD service area.
This is a hands-on residential service role centered around troubleshooting and understanding the full plumbing system. You’ll be joining a team that already operates at a high level, where technicians are trusted to diagnose issues, think critically, and deliver real solutions for homeowners.
Success in this role comes from being able to see the bigger picture-identifying not only the immediate issue, but also opportunities for preventative maintenance, repairs, and system improvements that can be handled in the moment.

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing experience
Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and plumbing codes
Ability to diagnose residential plumbing problems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
Comfortable using software and technology (ServiceTitan, iPad, phone, inventory systems)
Clean driving record and ability to maintain safe driving practices
Clear background check and ability to pass a drug test

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Physically capable of performing residential plumbing work safely
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain residential plumbing systems
Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective, code-compliant solutions
Educate homeowners on their plumbing systems and recommended upkeep
Use tools, meters, and equipment safely and efficiently
Follow all safety codes, building regulations, and company procedures
Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly
Communicate clearly with Dispatch, customers, and teammates
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and accurate inventory
Participate in trainings and team meetings (up to three times weekly)
Present a professional, clean-cut appearance while wearing Beacon uniform
