Owner-managed property is seeking a Licensed Plumber for a direct hire opportunity at a prominent apartment community in Richmond, VA. Job Overview:

The Licensed Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in apartment units and common areas to ensure functionality, safety, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and appliances.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and perform effective repairs in a timely manner.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Respond to resident service requests and emergency plumbing issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinate with maintenance and management teams to schedule and complete plumbing projects.
• Assist in preventative maintenance programs for plumbing systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Requirements

Valid plumbing license required.

Proven experience as a plumber preferably in apartment or multi-family housing.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards.

Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
