Plumber's Helper

Full-time / Non-exempt / Pay based on experience

Menno Haven is seeking a Plumber's Helper to join our Maintenance team! In this role, you will assist with day-to-day plumbing maintenance throughout our Community. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on plumbing experience and learning the plumbing trade. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with unclogging toilets and drains.
• Replace toilet seals and perform basic plumbing repairs.
• Support plumbers with renovation and maintenance tasks.
• Transport tools and materials to job site.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and systems preferred. 
• Previous maintenance or construction experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required. 
• Prior renovation or residential service experience strongly preferred. 
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record required. 
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to follow directions required.
• Must be a team player as well as be able to work independently required.
• Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude required.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong customer service skills required.
• Must maintain a clean, neat appearance required. 
• Must possess a good work ethic, dependability, flexibility and be punctual required. 
• Experience is senior living is a plus.

• Full-time, Day shift, Monday-Friday
• On-Call Rotation
• Must be available for snow removal
