    Labcorp is seeking a Plumber to join our team in Tampa, FL.

    Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 4:00pm (rotating weekends & on call as needed).

    Job Responsibilities

    • Diagnose plumbing issues, identify leaks, and unblock clogged drains
    • Measure, cut, bend, and assemble pipes; install water heaters, toilets, and plumbing fixtures
    • Read blueprints and adhere to all local building codes and safety regulations
    • Provide cost estimates and clearly explain repair options
    • Conduct routine inspections of piping networks to prevent future emergencies
    • Coordinate repairs with department supervisors and ensure completion of assigned work
    • Perform additional duties as assigned 

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Valid state-issued Journeyman or Master Plumber license
    • 2 years or more of experience as a residential or commercial plumber. 

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Completion of an apprenticeship or trade school certificate program.
    • 3 years or more of experience as a residential or commercial plumber

    Additional Job Standards

    • Ability to safely use and maintain standard plumbing tools
    • Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
    • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
    • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position

    Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
