Plumbing Apprentice

Plumbologist, LLC is seeking a full-time Plumbing Apprentice to support our plumbing team with hands-on service work in Tucson, AZ.

Position Summary

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you’ll learn the trade while assisting licensed plumbers on residential and light commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically minded, eager to grow, and committed to delivering quality work safely and professionally.

You’ll gain practical experience on job sites by assisting with plumbing tasks, preparing work areas, and supporting efficient, accurate service under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings

• Prepare job sites by gathering materials, setting up tools, and maintaining organized work areas

• Support troubleshooting by observing procedures, identifying issues, and helping complete corrective repairs

• Perform basic plumbing-related tasks safely, including measuring, cutting, assembling components, and cleaning up after work

• Follow job site safety practices and company procedures to ensure a safe, compliant work environment

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work onsite in Tucson, AZ full-time

• Willingness to learn and follow direction from experienced plumbers and supervisors

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic with professional communication

• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working in confined spaces as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Some prior hands-on experience assisting with plumbing, maintenance, or construction-related work

• Familiarity with basic plumbing concepts and common plumbing components

• Interest in pursuing growth toward a plumbing apprenticeship or related credentialing pathway

• Experience working with customers or in a service environment

• A demonstrated commitment to safety and attention to detail

Compensation

Hourly rate: $18.00 - $25.00
