Description
We're seeking a Mid-Level Plumbing Designer in Cincinnati, Ohio, who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to support projects for some of the world's largest and most state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You'll independently perform plumbing design assignments with general technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. Your plumbing experience will be put to use to create plumbing designs for construction. There will be opportunities to be on project sites to gather existing plumbing conditions and during construction. You will coordinate work activities with other design and engineering professionals and project management.

Here's what you'll need:
10 years, reduced to 5 years with an associate's degree in a related technical discipline, of practical application experience of plumbing design, including waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and storm water related to building systems
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams, with the client and the construction team Passion for buildings and construction
Proficient working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software
General working knowledge of plumbing codes
An understanding of clash detection, clash resolution, and building system coordination
Ideally, you'll also have:
Industrial design experience, including pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base

This role is staffed out of our Cincinnati office as a hybrid position with the majority of time worked remotely and approximately 2 days per week in the office
