- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and ownership teams
- Participate in project reviews, quality control processes, and construction coordination activities
- Conduct field observations and assist with construction administration efforts
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Evaluate new products, materials, energy-saving technologies, and cost-saving initiatives
- Support the development and implementation of engineering standards and best practices
- Participate in project meetings, coordination calls, and stakeholder discussions
- Assist in maintaining project schedules and supporting successful project delivery
Required Qualifications
- 3–10+ years of progressive experience in plumbing design, building systems engineering, or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping design, equipment selection, sizing, and layout
- Working knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems and fire pumps
- Experience preparing construction documents and supporting field observation activities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards including IPC, UPC, IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Bluebeam Studio
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and technical documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel to project sites, industry events, and training opportunities as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Drafting, Building Systems Engineering Technology, or related field
- Experience working on hospitality, hotel, mixed-use, or commercial developments
