Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 base salary (negotiable for strong candidates; may exceed for Professional Engineers)

About the opportunity
An established MEP consulting engineering team is hiring a Plumbing Engineer or Plumbing Designer to support plumbing system design and coordinated construction documents across a variety of building projects.
Responsibilities
Plumbing design production
- Design plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare, education, residential, and multifamily buildings
- Prepare plumbing plans, specifications, and construction documents
Sizing, layout, and code application
- Perform system sizing and layout
- Apply plumbing codes and design standards to design decisions
Coordination and construction support
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical disciplines
- Support multi-story building projects with repetitive system layouts
- Review shop drawings and assist during construction phases
Qualifications
Required qualifications
- 4 or more years of experience in an MEP or consulting engineering environment
- Plumbing building systems design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (skills may be evaluated)
- Working knowledge of plumbing codes and design standards
Preferred qualifications
- Revit experience strongly preferred
- Professional Engineer license or Engineer in Training is a plus and may impact compensation
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
