Job Description Job Description Plumbing EngineerWe are seeking a Plumbing Engineer to join a growing MEP engineering team supporting a wide variety of commercial projects. This individual will be responsible for the design, layout, and coordination of plumbing systems from concept through construction administration. The ideal candidate is technically strong, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Design plumbing systems for commercial projects including domestic water, sanitary waste/vent, storm drainage, natural gas, and specialty systemsPrepare construction drawings, specifications, and engineering calculationsCoordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teamsPerform plumbing load calculations and equipment sizingParticipate in project meetings, site visits, and client coordinationReview shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during constructionEnsure designs comply with applicable building codes, plumbing codes, and industry standardsSupport project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and technical executionMentor junior designers and assist with QA/QC reviews as neededQualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field3+ years of plumbing design experience within an MEP consulting environmentProficiency with Revit and AutoCADStrong understanding of IPC, UPC, and applicable local codesExperience with commercial project types such as healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, office, or mixed-usePE license preferred or actively pursuing licensureStrong communication and coordination skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
