The Role:
As a Estimator in Plumbing & HVAC, you'll be integral to our project bidding process. You're not just crunching numbers; you're laying the groundwork for project success!

What You'll Do:

• Interpret project plans and specifications to develop clear and accurate cost estimates for plumbing and HVAC installations.
• Compile and analyze data from various sources, ensuring precision and adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to refine estimates and improve workflows.
• Assist in preparing bids and competitive proposals, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Gain hands-on experience in project take-offs, materials lists, and labor requirements.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, leveraging their expertise to obtain competitive pricing.
• Stay informed about industry trends, techniques, and materials to continuously enhance estimating accuracy.

Pay/Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 Annually

Requirements:

• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of construction, plumbing, or HVAC estimating is required.
• Previous experience with estimating software (Estimation, Quickpen, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with estimating software is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and be open to feedback.
• A willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
