We are looking for a Plumbing Inspector to perform in-home plumbing inspections for our membership customers. This position is responsible for identifying plumbing issues, explaining findings to homeowners, and helping generate opportunities for our plumbing team to complete recommended repairs or services.
This is a customer-facing position that combines plumbing knowledge, inspection skills, and sales. You will not be expected to use high-pressure sales tactics. Instead, you will inspect the plumbing system, identify problems, explain what you find, and help the customer understand the available options.
Pay Commission Based + $25/inspection
Responsibilities
Travel to customers' homes to perform scheduled plumbing inspections.
Inspect plumbing systems and fixtures to identify existing or potential issues.
Look for opportunities where repairs, replacements, or additional plumbing services may be needed.
Clearly explain inspection findings and recommendations to homeowners.
Take photos and document issues found during inspections.
Generate qualified leads for the plumbing service team.
Schedule or coordinate follow-up service appointments when needed.
Build positive relationships with customers through professional and knowledgeable service.
Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate findings with the office and plumbing technicians.
Represent the company professionally while working in customers' homes.
Follow company safety, inspection, and customer-service procedures.
Qualifications
Plumbing experience or knowledge strongly preferred.
Previous experience in plumbing inspections, service, sales, or a related field is a plus.
Strong understanding of common residential plumbing systems and issues.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Comfortable speaking with homeowners and explaining plumbing problems in an easy-to-understand way.
Ability to recognize plumbing issues and identify potential repair opportunities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to use a smartphone/tablet for inspections, photos, and documentation.
