Job Summary:

Come join the fastest growing contractor in the Southeast! Strada Services is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to join our existing team! The Purchasing Coordinator will perform administrative and clerical duties for the purchasing department, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and can remain organized and calm under pressure. This is an in-person office position at our Sanford corporate office. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.
  • Coordinates with managers to maintain inventory levels.
  • Types reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents. Research vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services.
  • Ensures that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
  • Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • At least two years of clerical experience required.
