Hourly Pay

• Apprentice 1 (0–2 years): $20.75–$26

• Apprentice 2 (2+ years): $27–$34

• Journeyman 1 (0–3 years): $37.75–$42

• Journeyman 2 (3+ years): $44–$47

• Master Plumber: $47+

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and applicable wage classification.

This position is represented by UA Local 174, West Michigan Plumbers, Fitters and Service Trades.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems

• Perform routine plumbing maintenance and service work

• Identify system issues and recommend practical, long-term solutions

• Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and service needs clearly with customers

• Ensure all work meets Michigan plumbing code requirements and company quality standards

• Maintain accurate documentation of materials, labor, repairs, and completed service calls

• Manage assigned service calls efficiently while maintaining high craftsmanship standards

• Identify additional service needs and communicate recommendations when appropriate

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

• Use company tools, materials, vehicles, and equipment responsibly

• Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite protocols

• Represent Moore Mechanical professionally with customers, contractors, and trade partners

What We're Looking For

We welcome applicants at various experience levels, including apprentices, experienced service technicians, and licensed journeymen and master plumbers.

• Previous plumbing service experience preferred

• Residential and/or commercial plumbing experience

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills appropriate to experience level

• Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and repair methods

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently, as experience allows

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to explain technical issues and repair recommendations to customers

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Minimum age of 18
