Position OverviewAs Plumbing Shop Engineer you will be responsible for administering repairs and improvements to an already great property. Your attention to detail and ability to lead a diverse team will ensure the functionality of our resort and the safety and satisfaction of every guest.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain domestic water systemOperate, maintain and repair wastewater treatment plantPerform preventive maintenance of all water features and mechanical systemsTroubleshoot complex maintenance problems and develop creative solutions; perform maintenance duties as necessaryInterface with contractors; review plansInterface with vendors; research and evaluate new housekeeping and maintenance products and proceduresOrder supplies as neededEstablish schedules for repairs and preventive maintenance and ensure they are adhered toMaintain all sewage ejection and dewatering stationsMaintain all underground sanitary and grease pipe systemsMaintain all above ground non-tenant pipe systemsPerform monthly preventive maintenance of sewer systemsHandle independent work responsibility and judgmentPhysical ability to access all areas of the propertyHandles multiple tasks and works a variety of shifts necessary to complete assigned projectsMaintain a clean DMV recordProvide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report to the department leader and Risk Management every 6 monthsImmediately notify department leader of any changes to the Nevada Driver's License statusWork closely with other departmentsTemporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessaryQualification RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentAt least four years of plumbing experience in a similar environmentComputer skills and data entryWelding skillsUse of hand toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in EnglishExcellent customer service skillsPolished appearance and demeanorAbility to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresPrevious experience in a large, luxury resort settingMust be at least 21 years of ageReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsResponsibilitiesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have supervisory responsibility.Diversity CommitmentFontainebleau Las Vegas is committed to ensuring an inclusive space and sense of belonging for our Members.
