What you’ll be doing

1. Issues “stay-over” cards to corresponding guest rooms
2. Prepares evening refreshments; replenishes food/beverages accordingly
3. Furnishes/replenishes conference room as needed
4. Orders appropriate food quantities (cookies for evening, breads/rolls for morning) as necessary
5. Performs laundry duties; washes, dries, and folds sufficient amount of rags/towels in preparation for following day
6. Assists in Front Desk Department, answering phone calls and addressing clientele at counter
7. Solely Assumes Front Desk role periodically to allow associate to use restroom
8. Comprehensively cleans guest rooms according to Company standards when needed
9. Applies safety precautions in all cleaning scenarios; prudently uses cleansing products/solutions according to instructions
10. Performs “stay-over” services as needed; renders suitable items/services to occupied rooms as indicated by guests
11. Stocks guest items at front desk /back office
12. Cleans and furnishes employee restroom
13. Empties trash at Front Desk and all offices; consolidates and disposes trash at exterior dumpster
14. Mops boiler room floor; ensures no objects are near or making physical contact with boilers
15. Puts away any shipments and packages received during shift
16. Executes janitorial duties recurrently; addresses toilet, sink, HVAC problems in guest rooms
17. Respects hotel property and equipment; operates cleaning tools and mechanical equipment respectably
18. Cleans popcorn machine, containers, utensils before conclusion of shift; restocks necessary items
19. Achieves cleaning assignments in interior sections of Inn (e.g. hallways, lobbies, boardroom, etc.)
20. Reports all repairs—mechanical and electrical—to supervisor or maintenance staff
21. Exemplifies superior customer service to guests—greeting clientele, readily fulfilling requests and responding to inquiries
22. Provides directions for locale to guests
23. Maintains professional environment in dialogue and interaction with associates
24. Evinces clean, professional appearance; conforms to dress code administered by Management
25. Attends meetings, conferences, and seminars as requested
26. Executes other duties, as directed
