We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s buildings, systems, and guest areas remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will perform both routine preventive maintenance and responsive repairs across rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas while delivering excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building systems.
Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and work orders to minimize disruption and ensure guest satisfaction.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, mechanical rooms, and exterior grounds; identify and address issues proactively.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as air conditioning units, lighting, appliances, locks, doors, windows, and fixtures.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, parts inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Assist with emergency situations (e.g., water leaks, power outages, HVAC failures) and follow established safety and emergency protocols.
Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and other departments to schedule work efficiently and minimize impact on guests.
Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, fire codes, and hotel brand standards.
Maintain a clean, organized workshop and properly store tools, equipment, and supplies.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall property operations.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry/painting.
Ability to work 2nd shift 3pm to 11pm including weekends.
This position will be 40 hours per week, 5 days a week working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Comfort working in various environments (indoors/outdoors, mechanical rooms, heights, varying temperatures).
Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely.
