This role requires strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.In addition to technical duties, the PM Technician Level II may lead a preventive maintenance team on-site, providing direction, coordinating tasks, and ensuring quality and efficiency in service delivery. This position plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction through professionalism, reliability, and adherence to safety and operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform PM Service as needed- replace filters, belts, coil cleaning, etc.Utilize DST Technology ability to lead a PM team on-siteWorking unsupervisedPerforming routine preventative and predictive maintenance on HVAC systemsMaintain accurate service records and documentationFollow all required safety protocolsRequirementsHigh School/GED (basic math/reading)Technical School/Community College/NCTAP (Apprenticeship Program)General knowledge of HVAC/R systemsAbility to communicate services performed with customersPreferred QualificationsApplicable Trade/Vocational schoolCertificationsUniversal CFC Certification within 1 year of startingPhysical RequirementsLiftingBending, climbing, pulling, pushing, balancing, kneeling, twisting and standingPerform service and repair functions from ladders and overheadCarry and set up ladders up to 32 ft. in height (step or extension) as requiredClimbing stairs, ladders, catwalks, etc.Work from mechanical liftsPiedmont Service Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
