Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health.
- Current PMHNP certification and California state licensure.
- Experience in psychiatric care and mental health services preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
