About the Role:
Join AWESOME EXPERIENCE PSYCHIATRY SERVICES as a PMHNP Board Certified professional, where you'll provide compassionate mental health care in a supportive environment. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our patients in Waldorf, MD, and are excited to welcome a new member to our team!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in psychiatric care.
Requirements:
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Active and unrestricted Maryland nursing license.
- Experience in psychiatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
