Job Description

About the POSITION:

A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is needed to join a well-established Behavioral Health team within a large, mission-driven community health organization in Montana. This organization provides integrated, patient-centered care and has a strong reputation for serving diverse populations across the region.

Clinic hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

  • Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

  • 40-hour work week or flexible

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of PMHNP experience (no new graduates at this time)

  • Commitment to working in a collaborative, integrated care model

Services Provided:

  • Comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations

  • Individual and group therapy

  • Crisis intervention and stabilization support

  • Follow-up care and continuity of services post-hospitalization

  • Collaborative care management with primary care providers

  • Individualized treatment and safety planning

  • Evidence-based therapy modalities, including EMDR, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, play therapy, and more

  • Psychopharmacology appointments and referrals as appropriate
