    Job Overview

    TE Connectivity Sensors Business Unit is looking for a Technical Specialist to join the Program Management Office global team.

    The technical specialist will support and drive various activities within the Sensors PMO, designed to enable project execution. The individual will support the Project Approval Committee meeting facilitation which is: assembly agenda and content from presenters, hosting the meeting, and keeping and distributing notes and action items.

    The Specialist will also support organization with project management software (Planisware) for the Sensors organization. This support is helping with access, processing project gate requests, working with the teams on schedule and deliverable updates. Additionally, the Specialist will assist with creation of formal change requests to the development team and support user acceptance testing of new features and processes.

    It is desired for the Specialist to support Sensor Business Process activities. This support would review and update of process documentation. Business analyst support of existing process, to recommend and execute changes to business processes within the Sensors BU. Analysis of project data and KPI's is also desired, with the ability to create reports and data visualizations a plus.

    The ideal candidate has experience in the technical industry, with demonstrated skills in NPI project execution. Experience with sensors is a plus.

    Job Requirements

    • Facilitation of executive readout meetings - tasks including gathering content, hosting meeting, keeping actions and notes
    • Review business process specifications and update documentation for release
    • Analysis of business processes and provide insights and feedback for improvement
    • Support of Project Management Software - support engineers and project managers with data updates, access issues, and troubleshooting of basic procedure items
    • Create Project Execution templates based off of project schedules, deliverables, and business processes that will be leveraged in project management software
    • Work with PMO team on change requests for Project Management Software to feed into IT team for system updates
    • Perform User Acceptance Testing of new updates to Project Management Software
    • Analysis of Project Execution KPI's to assist with business analytics
    • Create data visualizations to convey business performance of project management metrics and ability to make recommendations based off analysis

    What your background should look like

    • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline
    • 1-5 yrs experience in Development or NPI project execution
    • Experience with project management process and metrics
    • Knowledge of design/product development stages, different manufacturing processes, project management and its tools.
    • Strong financial acumen, with experience keeping projects on budget, managing product cost and overall ownership of project P&L.
    • Exceptional fluency in English
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with leadership, stakeholders, cross functional teams (engineering, product management, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, finance, sales) and subject matter experts.

    Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and ability to assess business results and provide meaningful recommendations
