HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Pneumatics Tester to join our talented technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is meticulous and technically minded to work hands-on with aviation components in a fast-paced FAA-regulated environment. This position is for the second shift, Monday through Thursday, from 2pm until midnight.
As a Pneumatics Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft systems by conducting functional and pressure testing on pneumatic components. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and verifying the functionality of aircraft pneumatic components, such as valves, regulators, actuators, and other related systems.
You will operate manual and automated test equipment, analyze test data, and ensure that all components meet performance and safety standards before being approved for return to service. You will also need a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Additionally, you will be responsible for the general upkeep of testing equipment and providing test reports.
