POC Administrator (Point of Connection Administrator)

Location: Manassas, VA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized POC (Point of Connection) Administrator to join our client's team in Manassas, VA. This hybrid opportunity combines remote work with periodic travel to the project site as needed.

In this role, you will work closely with project teams to coordinate and manage facility Point of Connection (POC) information, ensuring critical utility and infrastructure connections are accurately tracked and documented. You will play an essential role in supporting ongoing construction and facility operations by maintaining databases, coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines, preparing documentation for project meetings, and performing field verification activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend project coordination meetings and provide administrative support.
  • Manage and maintain the Point of Connection (POC) database.
  • Review Technical Service Request (TSR) information and enter data into project databases.
  • Coordinate with project teams to obtain missing information required for project documentation.
  • Review Bluebeam sessions and apply markups to prepare for coordination meetings.
  • Communicate with engineering, construction, and operations personnel to ensure database accuracy.
  • Create laminated streamers and identification tags for field installation.
  • Perform field verification activities, including:
    • Verifying Point of Connections (POCs)
    • Confirming available and occupied connections
    • Verifying installation status of laterals
    • Identifying lateral locations
    • Confirming Valve Manifold Boxes (VMBs) and related infrastructure
  • Support project teams by tracking assignments and maintaining accurate project records.
  • Assist with additional administrative and project-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing complex databases with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
    • Outlook
    • Teams
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
    • OneNote
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting semiconductor facility design or construction projects.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Exposure to mechanical, electrical, process, or facilities systems within manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Facilities Operations & Engineering processes and capacity planning concepts.
  • Experience using Bluebeam or similar document management software.
