The Podiatrist provides comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions within a high-volume clinical healthcare environment. This role supports patient care through routine and advanced podiatric procedures while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical podiatry expertise, diagnostic skills, patient management capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Podiatric Care- Diagnose and treat conditions involving:
- Foot
- Ankle
- Lower extremities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide routine and advanced podiatric procedures
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered podiatric care
Patient Management & Documentation- Manage high patient volumes efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
- Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans and preventative care
Collaboration & Clinical Support- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists
- Support continuity of care and patient follow-up initiatives
- Participate in clinical quality and patient safety efforts
Must-Have Qualifications- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
- Active Oklahoma Podiatry License
- Prior clinical experience in podiatry
- Strong diagnostic and patient management skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume clinical environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within hospital or tribal healthcare systems
- Experience managing complex lower extremity conditions
- Strong procedural and surgical podiatry experience
- Experience supporting underserved or community-based populations
