Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs the act of mechanically dealing a Poker game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations.
Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Poker Room Supervisor of any irregularities while advising a Poker Room Supervisor,or Poker Room Shift Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/Poker Dealers.
Manages gaming chips, collects rake and distributes winning pots according to approved ICS in an accurate manner.
Supports and maintains the Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations and enforcing rules of the game.
Performs other duties requested or assigned.
Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines ICS.
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to identify colors.
Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
