Job Description:
Do you have the desire to provide professional and impartial service to
our community? The City of Dover is currently seeking qualified
applicants for the position of part-time Police Cadet in the Police
Department. The primary duties of this position are to provide law
enforcement assistance to the Police Department.
Job Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas in the Downtown Dover and Dover Public Library
area to enforce City of Dover Ordinances
- Process prisoners, including completing required paperwork and
operation mug shot image computer
- Issue summons to ordinances violators & completes arrest reports as
needed
- Assist other police personnel as directed
- Assist with administrative and operational goals of the department
