JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of a superior police officer, performs supervisory, managerial and technical work during each tour of duty in assigned area and/or task; does related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Sergeant must have served a minimum of two (2) years as a Sergeant as of the date of the test for Lieutenant in order to qualify to take such test.
SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: There will be a written examination weighted 30% (See below reading list) and an assessment center weighted 70%.
EXAMINATION DATES: Written - Saturday, October 24, 2026; Assessment Center - Sunday, October 25, 2026
