    POLICE DEPARTMENT - 1. Application Deadline: Setember 24, 2026

    1. Written Test: October 3, 2026 @ 9:00 AM or October 6, 2026 @ 5:00 PM

    2. Assessment Center, Panel Interview, Physical Agility: October 13, 14, or 15, 2026 @ 8 AM

    3. Background Investigations: Beginning October 19, 2026

    4. Chief's Interview: Scheduled upon passing Background

    5. Eligibility List: Subject to passing all prior steps; remains active for 2 years.

    6. Medical and Psychological Examinations: Following Conditional Offer of Employment (likely in mid-November 2026)

    7. Recruit Academy (if needed): Start January 7, 2027 at FVTC

    8. Police and Fire Commission Appointment: Beginning May 2027
