Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing local, state, and federal laws to protect life and property, patrol assigned areas to deter crime and ensure public safety, and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
Responsibilities

- Investigate crimes by collecting evidence and interviewing victims and witnesses
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed records
- Make arrests and issue citations when appropriate
- Enforce traffic laws and respond to traffic accidents
- Provide assistance and support to individuals in crisis situations
- Engage with the community to build trust and promote crime prevention
- Testify in court and work with prosecutors and other justice partners
- Uphold departmental policies, ethical standards, and professional conduct
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- High School graduate; (60+ college credit hours preferred)
- 21 years old at time of graduation from the Police Academy (20 years and 3 months old at time of application)
- Possess a valid drivers license and at least 6 months driving experience
- Successfully complete all requirements of the Background and Selection Process
