The Wyoming Police Department WYPD is seeking qualified candidates to fill a vacant police officer position. Applicants must be MCOLES certifiable or currently certified law enforcement officers with MCOLES certifications. Out-of-state candidates are encouraged to apply and must be eligible for MCOLES Recognition of Prior Training and Experience Program.

WYPD employs 103 sworn officers and offers specialized unit opportunities including:

• Detective bureau • K-9 tactical team • Crisis negotiation • Motorcycle unit • School resource officer • Kent Area Narcotics Team • Tactical bike team and more.
