We’re looking to hire a Police Department Receptionist who can provide day -to -day administrative support to our Officers and the City of Coatesville Police Department. Candidates applying for the role should be highly organized and must perform multiple tasks for different purposes simultaneously. Any sort of experience with criminal justice organizations and an understanding of “excellent customer service” is valued highly. The candidate should be able to both administer department activities and practice effective communication in our client and community relationships. The Candidate should drive efficiency for our daily operations by maintaining the following tasks for the Police Department:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

  • Prepare, file and retrieve<\/span> sensitive documents and information.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Working the front desk, checking in IDs and communicating with visitors upon arrival <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Update internal databases with daily reports and information.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Answering and returning phone calls as needed<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate meetings, calls and schedules for the Police Department.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate schedules for Department programs (car seat installations, etc.)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Send follow -ups for routine emails and communications when necessary<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate schedules for community service.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Help create promotional materials for social media (e.g. presentations<\/span> and videos).<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, Account Manager/Coordinator or any other similar role.<\/font><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent computer skills (MS Office in particular).<\/font><\/span><\/li>
    • Hands -on experience with any CRM software.<\/font><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience with marketing/advertising campaigns.<\/font><\/span><\/li>
    • Organizational and time -management skills.<\/font><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Type at least 40 WPM<\/font><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong communication skills with a problem -solving attitude.<\/font><\/span><\/li>
    • B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant field.<\/font><\/li><\/ul>
