The Policy Admin I is responsible for administering and maintaining policy-related data, processes, and system records to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, intermediate Excel proficiency, and the ability to interpret policies, procedures, and semi-technical documentation to accurately execute operational processes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform daily policy administration activities, including product additions, policy additions and modifications, recall management, and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of policy databases and related systems.
Prepare, validate, and coordinate timely and accurate database imports.
Review and interpret policies, procedures, business requirements, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate process execution.
Analyze and validate data to identify discrepancies, exceptions, and opportunities for process improvement.
Pursue denials received from the Returns Authorization group and coordinate resolution activities.
Manage relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, and other business partners.
Create, maintain, and present reports and data analysis for management.
Proactively identify issues and communicate recommendations and solutions to management.
Escalate concerns to management in a timely manner.
Assist in developing and implementing best practices for policy administration.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Beneficial Education, Skills, and Experience
Experience working with databases, data imports, or business system maintenance (especially NetSuite).
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year of experience analyzing, validating, and processing complex data or business documents.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, data validation, filtering, and analysis of large datasets.
Ability to read, understand, and accurately apply policies, procedures, business requirements, and semi-technical documentation.
Ability to translate documented requirements into accurate system updates and process execution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy.
Ability to review and analyze policies, procedures, and workflows.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with coworkers, customers, vendors, and business partners.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
