About the Position

Dexis is recruiting a Policy Analyst to support anticipated programming with the Department of War (DoW). This opportunity will provide program support, policy support, and technical assistance services to support Counterdrug (CD)/Counter-Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC)/Counter-Threat Finance (CTF) mission needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), The Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), Military Departments, and Defense Agencies. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of changes to the international political-military environment and the potential impacts on DoW and USG efforts to counter global drug trafficking and other illicit threat network activities that threaten U.S. national security interests. • Provide advice and recommendations to USG decision makers regarding the implications of existing or proposed changes to USG international agreements, military sales, security cooperation investments, and similar activities on CD/CTOC/CTF policies and programs. • Analyze national security policy issues related to DoW support of National Drug Control Program objectives, identify stakeholder equities, and assist USG personnel in developing responsive CD/CTOC/CTF programs in coordination with other OSD offices, the Joint Staff, CCMDs, Military Departments, Defense Agencies, the USG Intelligence Community, other USG Departments, and U.S. and foreign law enforcement partners. • Provide decision-support assistance to ODASD (CN&SP) and USG personnel by analyzing ongoing and proposed CCMD and Defense Agency CD/CTOC/CTF programs and activities and making recommendations, based on USG guidance, for investment or other programmatic changes.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. Possess a master's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field of study. Possess ten (10) years' experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DoW, other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents, and will be expected to perform at the level of a mid-range GS-15 equivalent. Shall possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to translate highly technical information into plain language for effective communication with DoW and other USG staff in the performance of all duties, tasks, and services.
