The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Policy Analyst working on the review and assessment of national and homeland security risk arising from foreign investment in the United States as part of DHS participation in the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and the Committee for the Assessment of Foreign Participation in the United States Telecommunications Services Sector (Team Telecom).

As a Policy Analyst, GS-0301-13, your typical work assignments may include:

  • Draft memoranda and briefing documents for senior officials which outline issues pertaining to foreign investment transactions and recommend courses of action. This involves in-depth analysis and recommendations regarding the national security risks posed by the transaction and the options available to mitigate national security risk.
