This position will support the Logistics Management Division for the Office of Administration to draft and edit instructions, standard operating procedures, and other guidance, including organizing and formatting the information. This will consist of using agency websites, subject matter resources, and other resources, research issues related to policy.
Responsibilities:
Researches, develops, plans, designs, and maintains policies and materials for the purpose of conveying messages.
Writes, edits, reviews, and oversees release of internal communication documentation, such as the intranet, newsletters, emails/memos, webcasts, presentations, and speeches.
Coordinates with marketing/external communications team to plan internal and external corporate events.
Takes part in development, improvement and/or implementation of new and existing communication avenues.
Requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
Conducts tasks and assignments as required.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2+ years' experience in drafting and/or editing policy and directives for federal agencies.
Expert user of MS Office suite.
Excellent writing skills with attention to detail.
Excellent oral communication skills in order to communicate effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Strong technical writing.
Familiar with MS SharePoint.
Requires BA and up to 2 years writing and drafting experience
Able to obtain and maintain suitability and background investigation.
Qualifications:
