Job Description
- A leading printing and mailing services company located in New Philadelphia, OH is seeking a Polybagger Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for operating polybagging equipment used in high-volume mailing and fulfillment operations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate polybagging equipment used to package printed materials for mailing and distribution
- Load products, inserts, and poly film into the machine according to job specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure proper sealing, counts, and packaging quality
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet company and client standards
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report mechanical problems when necessary
- Maintain production efficiency while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
- Experience operating polybagging, mailing, or bindery equipment in a printing or mailing environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Sitma, CMC, W+D, or similar polybagging machines
- Background in direct mail, printing, or fulfillment operations
$18 - $24 an hour
