Polymer Molding Process Technician — High-Volume Manufacturing

Where: Rockwall, TX | Pay: $25–$35/hour (DOE) | Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift

Impact you’ll make

  • Prepare, set up, and start injection molding machines for production runs
  • Lead efficient mold changes and complete machine changeovers
  • Identify and resolve part defects and dimensional concerns
  • Tune processes—thermal profiles, pressures, timing, and cooling—to maximize quality and throughput
  • Monitor run performance and verify part quality
  • Conduct first-piece inspections and log process changes
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
  • Uphold safety and 5S standards

What you need to succeed

  • 3+ years of hands-on injection molding processing experience
  • Ability to perform mold changes independently
  • Knowledge of plastic resins and molding techniques
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfort reading work instructions and quality specifications
  • Consistent attendance and a stable work record

Stand-out experience

  • Scientific molding background
  • RJG or equivalent training
  • High-volume manufacturing exposure
  • Familiarity with automation and robotics
