Polymer Packaging Blow Molding Machine Specialist

Kenosha, WI | New, highly automated operation with room to grow

Offer: $20/hr + shift differential | Status: Contract-to-hire | Outlook: Rapid expansion creating leadership tracks

Picture your first week

You walk into a gleaming, brand-new facility. The line hums. On the HMI, you verify temperatures, air pressure, and cycle times. A container drops—dimensions and wall thickness are right on target. You trim flash, document the check, and keep resin and supplies flowing. A minor alarm pops; you troubleshoot confidently and loop in maintenance for larger issues. By the end of the shift, your area is spotless, production goals are met, and quality is locked in.

Your core impact

  • Set up and operate automated blow molding equipment to produce industrial plastic containers
  • Monitor performance through computerized controls and fine-tune settings
  • Perform quality inspections, including dimensional and wall-thickness checks
  • Remove and trim excess material from finished products
  • Sustain material flow and restock supplies
  • Tackle routine troubleshooting; escalate complex issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

What you bring

  • 2+ years as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting
  • Plastics experience preferred: blow molding, injection molding, thermoforming, plastic extrusion, or highly automated plastics production
  • Confidence with computerized equipment and production controls
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, temperature controls, and automated machinery
  • Strong attention to detail; dependable and eager to learn

Training and shifts

Training (2–6 weeks)

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Permanent

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
