You'll collaborate with a talented team, contribute to high-impact projects, and grow into a technical leader within a global organization. You will help create the next generation of polymers for the Tissue and Towel market. Responsibilities Design and develop novel polymers for tissue and towel applications Conduct both theoretical and experimental research to generate new scientific and technological knowledge Perform polymer synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation Prepare comprehensive documentation of research, including technical reports, protocols, summaries, and quantitative analyses Analyze and interpret experimental data; communicate insights to technical and business stakeholders Contribute to multiple R&D programs from concept through application Publish research findings in scientific journals and present at conferences and professional forums Document research outcomes for patent disclosures and technical advancements Supervise, mentor, and coach laboratory assistants and junior team members Collaborate across disciplines within the Research function, contributing as a generalist or specialist as needed Build deep expertise and grow into a leadership role in a key technology area Qualifications Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field Hands-on experience in polymer or organic synthesis Strong understanding of polymer/material characterization techniques Familiarity with analytical chemistry or aqueous system chemistry is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving ability with a scientific and pragmatic approach Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment Demonstrated initiative and leadership potential #LI-DS1 We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
