Position Overview
Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Polysomnographer to join the Sleep Lab team at Mother Joseph of the Sacred Heart in Medford, Oregon. This full-time night shift position is responsible for conducting comprehensive sleep studies, monitoring patient responses, and assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep-related disorders.
Working closely with sleep medicine physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams, the Polysomnographer will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting positive clinical outcomes. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $61,000 to $95,000 annually based on experience, along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Education meeting requirements for applicable sleep technology certification, licensure, or registration.
- Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist License upon hire/start date, or
- Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist/Respiratory Therapist License upon hire/start date.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) upon hire/start date, or
- Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) upon hire/start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association upon hire/start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sleep lab or sleep medicine setting.
- Strong knowledge of polysomnographic testing procedures and sleep disorder diagnostics.
- Excellent patient care, communication, and technical skills.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining a high level of clinical accuracy.
