Polysomnographer Location: Medford, OR

Shift: Full-Time / Night Shift
The
Polysomnographer performs routine and advanced
sleep diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions for patients undergoing sleep studies.
The role involves conducting
polysomnographic testing, analyzing diagnostic data, supporting treatment plans, and maintaining departmental documentation and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex polysomnographic studies, including MSLT and MWT testing
- Collect, analyze, and compile sleep study diagnostic data
- Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities based on patient condition
- Score sleep studies and prepare diagnostic reports
- Maintain electronic and paper patient records
- Schedule patient sleep studies and coordinate testing logistics
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot and maintain sleep lab equipment and EMU devices
- Assist with database management and departmental documentation
Required Qualifications- Education that meets certification/licensure requirements
- Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist License (upon hire)
OR - Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist / Respiratory Therapist License
AND one of the following:- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
- Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) – Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
Additional Requirement: BLS Certification – American Heart AssociationPreferred Experience- Experience performing sleep diagnostic procedures in clinical sleep labs
- Knowledge of sleep disorder diagnostic protocols
- Experience with sleep study scoring and interpretation
