Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographer for a full-time night shift opportunity at a leading medical center in Medford, Oregon. This role is responsible for performing routine and advanced polysomnographic procedures while ensuring accurate diagnostic testing and quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting sleep studies, applying therapeutic interventions, and working in a collaborative clinical environment focused on patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and advanced polysomnographic procedures
Conduct MSLT and MWT sleep studies
Compile and correlate diagnostic sleep data
Apply therapeutic modalities based on patient conditions
Perform scoring and maintain patient records and files
Assist with departmental quality improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot sleep lab and monitoring equipment as needed
Maintain compliance with sleep lab protocols and safety standards
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements
Active Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist License required
OR Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist/Respiratory Therapist License required
Current RPSGT or CPSGT certification required
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
Education meeting certification/licensure requirements required
Strong technical, documentation, and patient care skills preferred
