What You’ll Do

• Conduct sleep studies and monitor patients throughout the night shift
• Prepare and fit positive airway pressure (PAP) masks
• Operate and troubleshoot sleep monitoring equipment (Alice Sleepwear G3, Meditech Expanse EMR)
• Document baseline sleep data, including body position, movements, and vital signs
• Support patient care by assisting with ambulation and answering questions
• Follow sleep procedures for various sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, parasomnias, and narcolepsy
• Work independently based on census, with support from the team as needed

What You Need
Required:

• LA State License
• BLS certification
• RPSGT or RRT-SDS credentials
• At least 1 year of sleep tech experience (more preferred)
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and follow sleep testing protocols
• Comfort working with pediatric to geriatric patients, including infants and children under 6
• Strong communication skills and technical aptitude

Preferred:

• Prior travel sleep tech experience
• Experience with therapeutic respiratory interventions (BiPAP, CPAP)
• Ability to work independently and manage patient interactions confidently
