What Youll Do:
- Perform overnight sleep studies in outpatient clinics
- Prepare and fit patients with PAP masks
- Monitor and troubleshoot sleep equipment and electrodes
- Follow sleep procedures to establish baseline sleep parameters
- Assist with patient care, including ambulation if needed
- Document findings and patient responses accurately
- Work independently or with minimal supervision depending on census
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout nocturnal studies
What You Need:
Required:
- LA State License
- BLS certification
- RPSGT or RRT-SDS certification
- 1+ year sleep tech experience
- Knowledge of therapeutic respiratory interventions (BiPAP, CPAP)
- Tech-savvy with monitoring equipment and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and handle patient interactions
Preferred:
- Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patient populations
- Comfortable working with sleep study data and scoring

This position involves providing overnight sleep testing at a high-quality facility in Shreveport, LA, with a focus on patient comfort and accurate data collection. The sleep studies include a variety of patient types, including those with sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and other sleep disorders. Work independently on a rotating schedule, supporting the facilitys commitment to exceptional sleep care.
