Job Summary: The Polysomnographic Technician conducts nocturnal and diurnal sleep testing in the Sleep Center to include monitoring of EKG, EOG, ECG, EMG, nasal/oral ventilations, chest and abdominal excursions, blood oximetry, leg and body movements and other special procedures. The position also assists in scoring sleep stages, apneas, movements and interpreting Polysomnographic recordings. Willingly performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications: Associates in Respiratory Therapy, NYS license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Therapy Technician or Sleep Technologist required. CPR-BLS Certification Required.

Preferred Qualifications: Post Associates degree clinical acute care experience preferred. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS) preferred.

Work Days: Various Shifts Available
