A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a sleep technician and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff. The sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology.
The hours for this position are 7pm-7am - 3 shifts a week -there is some flexibility to work night and day shifts. The primary location is Jersey Shore University Medical Center sleep center, however you may be required to travel to Bayshore Medical Center or Ocean University Medical Center depending on patient volume/need. This role covers the 3 centers in the southern region.
Candidates need to be experienced with pediatrics and seizure montages and experience with scoring sleep studies is a plus.
