Polysomnography Tech - Sleep Lab FULL TIME

DUTIES:Performs various polysomnograms or other sleep disorders testing under the direction of the Sleep Center Medical Director.  Responsible for attaching electrodes and monitoring patients and monitoring throughout the sleep study, documenting observations, collecting data, and reporting this information to the physician.  Responsible for CPAP titration and oxygen therapy, scoring reports, and assigned quality and performance improvement activities. It will provide patient education and follow standards, regulations, and policies set forth by the Joint Commission, CMS, AASM, and other regulating bodies. QUALIFICATIONS:A graduate of an accredited polysomnography program and at least two years' experience in a full-service sleep disorders center are desired.Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (or be registry eligible). BLS also required within 30 days of employment.Must have the ability to work well alone for extended periods.
