Description
A Pool attendant’s primary responsibility will be to monitor the number of guests allowed in the pool area and make sure everyone is following the pool rules. The Pool Attendant also provides superior customer service to residents; responds promptly to resident inquiries and concerns and resolves issues as they are able in a timely efficient manner.
Shifts run August 12th-September 7th Monday-Sunday. All shifts are scheduled from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Attendants are required to work a combination of weekends and weekdays.

- Mustmaintainregularandpunctual attendancetorequired shifts,meetings, training,and relatedemployment engagementstosupportpositionresponsibilitiesand duties.Any alterations tothe requiredschedulemustbereviewedandapproved, inadvance, byyour supervisor.
- To knowandfullyunderstandall associationrulesrelatedto theAssociationpool.
- Require signature, addressandphonenumberfor eachhouseholdenteringwithkeyfob.
- Verify thatthepersonattemptingto enterthe pool has aworkingfob. If a homeownerhas an issuewiththeir fob, sharetheOfficeandAssociationManager’scontactinformation. Send the homeowner’snameand contactinformation fromthesign-in sheet totheAssociation Manager.
- Aspeoplearecheckingin, remindthemthatno glasscontainers(pop,juice,salsaetc.) are allowed inthepool area.
- Sanitizepool gatehandles disinfectingwipesprovided twiceper 5-hourshift.Keep
- pool attendant’s tableareacleanandsanitized.
- Confirmthatthe peopleenteringthepoolare14years orolderif noadult ispresent
- (personmust confirmthehomeowner’sname,address, phonenumber.)
- Pool attendantsshouldbecirclingthepooldecksoccasionallywatchingfor anyonewith glass containers, straighteningdeckchairs, pickingupdebris, making sure areas are clean.
- If it is reported thatsomeonehas pooped inthe pool,youwillhavetoannouncethat everyonemustcomeoutof thepoolandthatthe pool is closing. Youwillneed to putupthe “poolclosed for cleaning”signandchainthegate.
- Youwillneedtocontactthepool vendorandletthem knowthatsomeonepooped inthe pool,andweneedservice.
- Makesurethe poolgateis alwaysclosed.
- Makesuretherearenolooseitemsorpaperthatcouldblowintothepool.
- Reportanyitems in needof repair totheOfficeorAssociationManager.
- Pool staff areNOTtoperformanylifeguardduties
- Additional dutiesas assigned by the Management team
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.
- Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
- Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
- May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
- Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
